Wish it were easier to use!

We had these installed by our contractors during our renovation. They had a hard time with the instruction manual as it wasn't very clear. They put up all the vanes, then had to take it all down and re do. Love the look of the blinds but it's just so complicated to use with the remote and the manual wasn't much help. We have had the blinds for months now and paired it with our Google home. The manual it came with is not very helpful and we couldn't find a customer service number to call. There are no voice commands list available in the instruction manual (or anywhere online) so when we tell Google to open or close blinds it does something weird. As of last night the unit was unplugged. When I plugged it back in this morning, the remote isn't working with the unit! Ugh. I wish it were easier!

Excellent Customer Service & Beautiful/Elegant Product

Graywind motorized vertical sheers with valance: 90" Height, 130" Width in the wave white pattern covering a triple sliding patio door. (inside wall mount) The instruction manual was fairly clear but in Chinese - with good pictures. Customer Service responded immediately to my questions with descriptions and videos - making it easier to understand. The velcro was sewn to the wrong side of the valance and Graywind offered to make a new valance. The handle on our door sticks out more than most and I needed to get a 2-1/2" flat steel plate from Home Depot to extend the valance clip in order to not smash the valance when opening or closing curtains. They are so beautiful and elegant that I feel like playing with the remote to watch them open/close and adjust. Oh, the 1st time trying to close them with the remote didn't respond at first. They had me unplug 10 minutes - plug it back in. Then, I needed to rotate the panels to "open" .... Then they began to function correctly. We measured everything before our handyman installer got here - it only took him 30 minutes to finish the rod installation . It took me another couple of hours to install the brackets for the valance including the extensions. I have shown them to 2 neighbors in our condo association and one is planning to purchase for themselves - the other is still considering the possibility. Sorry - pictures wouldn't upload.

the install instruction is very unclear

the Product is good and price is good too, but I was very confused about the install instruction. They shipped me about a month, then they told me that shipping was lost after passed by the delivery day. They replaced a new shipping to me after 4 days. Install instruction is very unclear, so it made the Amazon Customer service, my plumber and store sales were keeping going to call forward 3 or 4 time to discuss if the product was shipped the wrong , because my order is left side to open, but the product's instruction said the product is opening at the right. finally, they told me to switch the side to install to make left side to open.

Beautiful and great customer service

These blinds are great! We have a large double sliding door and one of things I love the most is the natural light we get. But I wanted to add some privacy. These blinds were the perfect solution! When the tilt is open the light come through beautifully but we have the privacy.
Now let me tell you about the amazing customer service! We had an issue with the track and contacted customer service. They were super responsive and really tried to solve the issue over email sending us videos. When we exhausted our options and we couldn’t repair it ourselves they quickly send us a new track. The new track works great and we love our blinds. We also ordered order shangrila blinds from this company and are very happy with those as well. Thank you so much Graywind for your amazing customer service!

Malfunctioning, not as advertised?

Received blinds last week (came quickly, so appreciated), installed them today, only to find that the individual panes do not open up as advertised. Not sure if it's a faulty product. Installation was not too difficult and product was packaged nicely. Just really disappointed the blinds don't open up like the product description says. Contacted the company and waiting to hear back. Will update once I receive a reply. I hope it can be fixed because I really like the look of the blinds!

***UPDATE*** have been in constant contact with the seller and now pending delivery of a replacement track and motor for the blinds. Looking forward to receiving a functioning product! Will update once received!

***UPDATE*** Received the new track and motor last week, but for some reason, this track has more clips than the previous one. So now we need more vanes to fill in the entire track. So far motor and track seem to work well, just some gaps from the missing vanes. Company is aware and now awaiting shipment of thr vanes. I definitely appreciate how responsive the company is so far.
