Step 1: Choose your fabric by blackout level

• ● Blackout: Complete darkness and privacy.
• ● Light Filtering: Soft natural light and glare reduction.
• ● Semi-Sheer: Balanced between privacy and outdoor views.
• ● Sheer: Maximum natural light, unobstructed views and daytime privacy.

Step 2: Choose Your Motor by Ecosystem

• ● Bluetooth Motor: Directly works with Graywind APP and supports Alexa and Google Home via a Bluetooth Hub.
• ● Zigbee Motor: Compatible with 7 Alexa devices, including Echo Plus (2nd Gen), Echo Show (2nd Gen), Echo Studio, Echo Show 10 (3rd Gen), Echo(4th Gen), Echo Show 8 (3rd Gen) and Echo Hub.

Step 3: Motorized Roller Shades with Additional Functions

• ● Manumatic Roller Shades: Flexibly controlled by either smart app control or manual operation - perfect for anyone who feels anxious about motorized products.
• ● Coupled Roller Shades: Able to join up to 5 pieces of fabric, Coupled Roller Shades are designed for extra-large windows.

For inside mount, at least 1 7/8'' depth is required. Measure the window width at the top, middle, and bottom, and use the smallest value.

Then measure the window height at the left, center, and right, and use the smallest value.

For outside mount, measure the window width at the top, middle, and bottom, and use the largest value. Then measure the window height at the left, center, and right, and use the largest value. For outside mount, you may add 1–3'' to the measurements to ensure full blackout. Leave at least 3'' of space at the top for valance installation. All the width value, please accurate to 1/16"; all the height value, please accurate to 1/8".

Firstly, you need to confirm whether you already have a smart ecosystem at home or plan to build one in the future; if so, simply choose a motor that supports the corresponding ecosystem.

If you don't have a smart ecosystem and only want to experience entry-level smart shades, you can choose Bluetooth or Hardwired WiFi motor and control your shades through Graywind App.
