Fabrics of Zebra blinds are typically made of parallel, alternating transparent and opaque stripes, creating a "zebra pattern" effect visually. The structure features a double-layer fabric, with one end secured by a connecting strip and the other end fixed to a rolling tube, which ensures the fabric rolls evenly when the motor drives the tube. Additionally, the hem bar of the zebra blinds is equipped with a hidden weighted bar, preventing the fabric from swaying under external forces like wind.

Graywind provides 4 levels of fabrics for different light entry:

How to measure my windows for Smart Roller Shades?
Measurements depends on whether you choose inside mount or outside mount.
For inside mount, at least 1 7/8'' depth is required. Measure the window width at the top, middle, and bottom, and use the smallest value. Then measure the window height at the left, center, and right, and use the smallest value.
For outside mount, measure the window width at the top, middle, and bottom, and use the largest value. Then measure the window height at the left, center, and right, and use the largest value. For outside mount, you may add 1–3'' to the measurements to ensure full blackout. Leave at least 3'' of space at the top for valance installation.
All the width value, please accurate to 1/16"; all the height value, please accurate to 1/8".

Smart Roller Shades usually consist of a motor and fabric. When you give a command via remote control, app, or voice, the motor rolls the fabric to a preset position. This position is usually pre-adjusted by Graywind before roller shades leave our factory, but you can also adjust it through app or remote control. Our manual provides detailed informations on how to make these adjustments.

It's very easy to clean roller shades. Simply use a feather duster or a household vacuum cleaner to remove dust from the surface of fabric. For spot cleaning, gently wipe with a damp cloth.

Since smart motor determines the compatibility with smart ecosystems, choosing the right one is especially important for your smart home.
Firstly, you need to confirm whether you already have a smart ecosystem at home or plan to build one in the future; if so, simply choose a motor that supports the corresponding ecosystem.
If you don't have a smart ecosystem and only want to experience entry-level smart shades, you can choose Bluetooth or Hardwired WiFi motor and control your shades through Graywind App.
