The problem was, they were new at making the Roman shades. I am impressed how well they took care of us, the customer and would definitely purchase from them again as we are doing new custom construction home. Please remember they will stretch out a bit like an eighth of an inch as they hang for a few weeks.
These blinds work perfect for our needs and they look great. We have had them for a year. The valance does not stay attached, but overall very happy with the shades.
I have very odd sized industry windows so it’s great that they are able to customize to my needs! They contacted me via email to make sure my measurements are exactly what I needed, they ended up adding a couple inches to make sure full window is covered and they didn’t charge me extra!
They are pretty easy to install and overall works great although the set up instructions can be quite confusing. But once I set it up it works consistently.
I have one small hiccup where one of 4 electric roller is broken, I contacted them via email, they reply within 24 hrs and sent me a new one after I sent them a video proving it’s broken. I would have reduced one star for this but their responsiveness and willingness to send replacement keeps the star.
I ordered the solar panels as well but didn’t end up installing them when I found out the rollers do last 6-9 months. It just looks better without it. In my case I just have extra long cables and plan to charge them when I need to.
The blinds itself is ok, it has a tiny bit of folds but it’s not visible unless you put your face against it.
Overall, I’m very happy with this product and it’s a fraction of the cost compare to places like shade store which would cost me thousands!
Update: the company immediately contacted me and sent us their new upgraded remote along with directions on how to connect it. We’ve had it for a week so far and it works much better than the prior remote.
The blinds are beautiful and we’re easy to install, HOWEVER, after less than 2 months the remote for the blinds has quit working entirely. After a few weeks it started to be hit or miss and now it doesn’t work at all. For $500+ blinds, I would expect the remote to work. We can’t use them at all right now

My first shade came in a much darker color then what I saw on the website. They worked with me replacing the shade I just had to swap out the motor in the other one I had. I then ordered two more which worked great on a single remote once we got the hang of programming them. I am planning on ordering our whole back sun room and hoping Alexa works with telling her to open and close...
Great product I would highly recommend and I priced out smart blinds with Blinds to Go and Home Depot Smart blinds and these were definitely more affordable....
After using the shades for roughly 2 months, I am very happy with them. The quality is excellent, The installation is very simple and fast. The programming was easy to do. And the customer service was very helpful when needed.(I worked with Zoe and she was excellent). I installed 9 shades in my house. I never thought I would buy motorized blinds,but once you have them, it would be hard to go without. I am very happy and no regrets. Thank you Graywind, Terry
My block-out blinds arrived packed so well that a truck rolling over them would have done no damage! I got them out of the box and installed them by myself in just a few minutes. They fit perfectly in the space I had sent measurements for in our living room, where we spend all of our waking moments. Living on a lake we have giant windows. These blinds block glare if the TV is on. Or if it's bright outside and one of us has a headache. Best money we have spent since time out of mind!
I ordered two of the Zebra style blinds and could not be more happiet with the color and style I chose for my living room and dining room. The install was extremely easy as the blinds were light weight. I got the system that you plug into the wall because light would be an issue for solar power use. I can still control the units on my phone. It was easy to share access so my husband enjoys rolling the blinds up and down as much as I do. My advise is if you decide to get a wired system, be sure to measure the distance. My setup worked just fine but I could have extended the wire a little.
It's true about the other reviews when they mention the communication is quick and are very responsive.
No doubt I'll be placing another order as I have another window to cover.
Super easy to install. The dual blind I did need a second person to hold up the left side which I didn’t need with single shade. I thought there was a problem with the product at first because I could only either get it to go all the way up but not all the way down or vice versa. Turns out I just need to wrap the blind around itself again and it worked itself out. I already have it programmed to. Put the light filtering shade down when we head up to get ready for bed and the blackout to go down when I’m ready for bed. I also have it programmed to lift the blackout just before my alarm so I can wake to natural light and light filtering to go up once dressed. My Alexa devices were to old to support the more expensive motor but honestly don’t think I’ll need it between having it programmed for daily use and the remote for other times.
I ordered 2 sets of blinds for my living room so we can watch movies/ game when the afternoon sun is out. I ordered the blackout model even though they look kind of ugly to me (I am not a fan of the plastic look, would prefer cellular). The good: it cuts down on the light, install was simple. We measured properly and it fit like a glove, love that they fit my 8' wide window. The remote came preprogrammed and worked easily.
The not good: even with the vinyl side strips installed it is not by any means a blackout blind. In Alaska blackout blinds are important and this is not one.
We used it on two of our rooms. We love the textured series and how sophisticated the material looks. The valance also looks very modern, chic and goes well with our new condo apartment interior.
The 60% light filter fabric provides ample light during the day while blocking out all visibility both directions night and day.
The motorized operations, with remote and smart hubs, work really well.

Amazing product but even more amazing customer service. The blinds work perfectly and are so easy to install and operate. Love being able to control multiple with one remote and set timers. I ordered a remote for every blind but Graywind was kind enough to remind me that since each remote can control up to 15 blinds, I really only needed one remote. That saved me over $300! They answer emails within minutes usually and shipping was exceptionally fast. I had 16 motorized blinds here (from China!) in less than 2 weeks, maybe even 10 days! They have my business!

Bought a two-rail motorized curtains. Great fabric quality, but more importantly, amazingly simple Google Home integration for voice-control. Customer service responsive, attentive, helpful and allows for post-order adjustments to meet the needs. Finally there is a properly working automated curtain system that we can buy; we'll order for the rest of the house soon. One area they can improve is the color/fabric choices; looking to get a Bordeaux / Velvet varieties which they don't yet have.
We installed sheers + blackout curtains in my living room and dining room (3 windows total). Pretty easy installation - the hardest part is figuring out the dimensions. We started with swatches - got a full set very quickly. The materials and the stitching are high quality. After picking our sheers/curtains and ordering we got our final order very quickly. It took less than a day to install. I needed some extra parts - the Graywind support team was helpful and the new parts were delivered quickly. The functionality of these is perfect - they integrated with Alexa very easily and it's great to be able to open/close with simple voice commands. The ONLY thing I would recommend as an improvement... you can get a remote control that either sits on a coffee table or can be mounted to a wall. It looks like a spacy 3D curvy object... which is great sitting on the table but not great as a wall switch. They should release a battery-powered decora wall switch that can be adhesively installed on the wall. Otherwise - an amazing product that I highly recommend.

I LOVE my blinds! The communication , help, suggestions, etc with Zoe and Sherry was outstanding!!! Ended up placing another order for more blinds, and requested Zoe and Sherry, for help with that also.. Haven't had my blinds very long, but love them! I got the smart blinds. ZOE and Sherry, in customer service are an asset to the company and should be rewarded!
So installing the product required:
1. Help from the vendor
2. Researching on the Internet to address some issues
3. Having to buy extra equipment
4. Learning the different Alexa Commands
5. Replacing 1 bad piece of equipment
First off, I will say the company was very helpful with communication and the ratting was brought up to a 4 based on how they performed.
My issues:
Blinds needed to be set up via the purchased remote for length and directions with opening and closing. I really had to do my research on the internet to solve the direction issue as the instruction on how to fix the directions for blinds was missing in the instructions. Both blinds were dropping in the same direction which caused friction.
I first bought the product because I didn’t need to buy extra equipment, I wanted it to work with my Alexa Echo Show 10, an approved model. The distance from the Alexa, one floor down, would not stay connected. Because Alexa wouldn’t work, I had to buy their hub. Note, it really needs to be close to the product for it to work and requires a data port for the hub to connect to Alexa.
The second issue I had, I shouldn’t ding the vendor on this, one of the blind units wouldn’t work with Alexa or their Hub. Luckily the vendor sent a replacement. My only comment would be that it should have been tested before it was sent to me.
The instructions provide wording on how to control the blinds through Alexa. I had an issue with the commands as Alexa had no clue what I was asking it to do. When I managed to get the units connected to the Alexa, saying open and close does not work as intended. I had to state “Alexa set to 100%” or a #% for the blinds to move.
The Help:
Graywind did a good job in reaching out to me to confirm my measurements and because I stated external they made sure I included the extra padding in the measurements.
The support team that helped me through my issues was accommodating and helpful. I appreciate their efforts and doing their best to help me troubleshoot my issues.
Would I buy this product again, yes. I am thinking of setting up another room with their blinds.
We love our motorized dual roller shades! Good quality material and a nice clean sophisticated look at a reasonable price. We bought a set of 4 customized sets of dual shades with fabric shades in the front and solar shades to filter out the sun during the day (in the back against the windows). We programmed the roller shades to go up and down at the same time which makes it so easy to use. Graywind is an excellent company and so easy to work with. Any questions were promptly answered by email and they offered helpful advise and clarity on the programming. They offered a phone call if we needed additional assistance, but the emails were helpful enough. I highly recommend their product and service.

Ordered a center split vertical sheer blind with right hand cord and chain. They sent me an email summary for review. It was all wrong. We made the corrections to the order and approved. Order arrived several weeks later. It was wrong. Right hand stack. Notified customer service. They placed the replacement order. Several weeks passed by. I emailed for an update. The factory lost my order and it needed to be remade. The correct replacement arrived a couple weeks later. When I tried to install the blinds, I couldn't complete the install because the clips were for a right hand stack, not a center split. Contacted customer service and finally got the parts to complete the project. The sheer is not a single piece of fabric, but still looks good.
