Measuring Guide For Mini Valance Shades & Blinds
This measuring guide is suitable for manual or motorized roller shades, printed shades, shangrila shades and zebra shades.
Measuring for your new blinds couldn't be simpler. It's an easy way to save lots of money and takes just minutes. All you have to do is follow our easy, step-by-step guides. The video guide is provided at the bottom of page.
· Inside Mount

1. Measure Depth： Minimum 1 7/8 inch depth needed. When install depth less than 2.75 inches and you chose with valance style, the valance will extend window frame. 2. Measure Width： Measure the width of window openness across the top, middle and bottom to make more accurate, take note of the smallest measurement to 1/16 inch. 3. Measure Height： Measure the height of window openness from top to sill across right, middle and left, take down the smallest one to 1/8 inch. |
· Outside Mount

1. Measure Depth： Measure the extended window casing depth, if there are handles or cranks, don't forget to take them into account. We have four combinations of brackets and roll directions to make a 0.8~3.7” allowance. 2. Measure Width： Measure and take down the width of window openness includes the frame/ molding if there is one. Add 2~4” for each side (4~8” total overlap) to ensure light control and privacy. 3. Measure Height： Measure and take down the height of window openness from top to sill. Add at least 3” to allow for valance height and mounting area above the window. |
Installation Guide for Mini Valance Shades & Blinds
How to install?
Please refer to the installation manual in your hand and the video guide at the bottom of the page, and start the installation after confirming the operation process. The seal of blind must be removed after installation is complete.
Please ensure that the position of installation is horizontal in advance. If it is not, you can use accessories such as shim to assist in adjustment.
The electric blinds can be controlled directly by the remote after installation is completed. If there is a need for smart device connection, you can further follow the corresponding instructions.
